'Electric Mud shack " CD by Jim Hammond

Way back in 2014, I had just finished playing with Big Boy Bloater and wanted to record My own album featuring some covers and self-penned songs, I recently had been inspired to write.

This record takes on a "Jump Blues" vibe with a mixture of Surf, Rockabilly and Dirty blues added to the mix.

We recorded at Magic Garden Studios in Birmingham, Midlands. Through the recommendation of the drummer. As it was a cool vintage type studio and we wanted the best outcome for this album.

22 songs were recorded over a period of three days and sixteen were used for this album.
8 of the tracks are originals.

I play all instruments apart from drums and bass.
A great album for anyone's collection.
